Изд. — В.&amp;nbsp;И.&amp;nbsp;Жуковский; ред. — Д.&amp;nbsp;А.&amp;nbsp;Коропчевскпй. Вышло 3 номера (январь — март).<br /> <br /> Основное место в журнале занимали статьи научного и литературно-критического характера. Хорошо был поставлен отдел &#039;&#039;Научная хроника&#039;&#039;.<br /> <br /> Журнал был лишен единства направления. Наряду с ярым пропагандистом идеалистического монизма И.&amp;nbsp;Ясинским в «Н.&amp;nbsp;о.» участвовал М.&amp;nbsp;А.&amp;nbsp;Антонович, напечатавший здесь несколько статей в защиту материализма, в частности рецензию «Проф. Сеченов о несвободе воли».
